Mitch trained the dam, Almighty Girl, and she was a mare we always had a lot of time for. She was a Group 3 winner, had plenty of natural speed and was as honest as they come. We've always said if we had a chance to buy one of her foals that we absolutely would!

When this colt came up for sale, we made a point of having a good look at him and he didn't disappoint.

By Maurice and out of a proven Group-winning mare, he has a pedigree that stacks up, but what really sold us was the horse himself. He's an athletic colt with a good attitude but also with a whole stack of upside.

Having followed the family for so long gives us a level of confidence you don't always get when buying yearlings. We know exactly what his dam was like to train, we know the traits she had as a racehorse and we're excited to see those qualities come through in this colt.

Not every yearling purchase comes with a backstory, but this one does. We always said that if the right horse out of Almighty Girl came along we'd love to bring him home, and when we saw this colt, we knew he was coming back with us.
